This Pasttime mural on Page & Market makes for a great backdrop. Here’s Cubby in the middle of a wallride 180.

Pete came out to Dolores Park to help Werehaus with a production project. While he was there we made use of the beautiful backdrop. Continue Reading →
Timing Is Everything
Jeff Benett fakie wallride
Jeff and I have shot this fakie wall ride photo a few times. It’s in a really tight space on a hop up to bank. I have a hard time staying out of Jeff’s way, and above everything high enough to get the shot framed up. The few times we shot this I always fire too late or too early. In this case the it’s too late. We put it up anyways because the lighting is pretty cool.

pedal slide
Cubby warming up on a wall ride, we should have lit the ground a little more
Last month we came up on a few rolls of assorted expired medium format film. It had a couple of slow b/w rolls and some slide. We took two rolls of Fuji Velvia 50/100 with us and rode out to the Presidio so Cubby could wall ride/pedal slide this wall at the octagon.
25th & Dolores
John Benett sucked up
A few weeks back we went out on a rainy night to shoot some long exposure hill bombs of 25th & Dolores. Living in SF, especially in the winter months, we often find ourselves riding at night down/up various hills to get places. Continue Reading →
Roasting Marshmallows
Halloween weekend was one long party. When the 31st finally came that Monday we were partied out, so instead of going out we rode up to the top of Jones & California so Cubby could fast plant this barrier. The shit looks like a roasted marshmallow. Continue Reading →

Canadian Ian
I met Ian at the clocktower this summer. Hes from eastern Canada, and was really eager to ride the streets of SF. I had the chance to show him around for a few days and take him to some of my gems. He was stoked… Here’s a couple of my favorites that we shot during his stay. Continue Reading →
