Just before the turn of the calendar year I spent an afternoon driving around with Arthur and John looking at some old favorite places to lurk, shoot, and get out of the way. Historically this building was a train station turn-around. It’s been out of commission for a good while, burnt down once or twice, and has become a haven for illegal fun. Continue Reading →
Tunneling part 2

Night Time Is the Right Time
A few weeks back a friend and I took a return trip to one of our favorite abandonments in San Francisco for a little night time photo mission. The above image was taken just after sunset, during the blue hour. Continue Reading →
Cruisin’

FFC Welcomes Aaron Durand
You may remember Aaron from a few posts before. We’ve been following his work on both tumblr and flickr for awhile. He’s a Portland native who moved to San Francisco about four years ago. Upon his arrival he picked up a camera and initially began shooting graffiti as a means to learn how to use it and to see parts of the bay area that most people won’t see. He’s a balding, avid adventurer who mostly shoots film, and has never ridden a track bike/ fixed gear. In fact he once said, “What is Macaframa?” He likes to surround himself around a creative group of people. Some of his friends : Steve Rotman, Dan Carlson, Nick Fisher, Walter Yetman, and Troy Holden are the biggest influences on his work. Speaking of Aaron’s work, check out his featured work below.
