Tony Campos and his unique backyard ramps have long been a destination spot for many BMX riders in the know who come to San Francisco. Tucked away in the Excelsior district, this setup was hand-built with his father and they collectively put years into making it a reality. What started off with a simple mini-ramp quickly grew and eventually covered every inch of their family’s backyard. The Campos family embodies the DIY SF lifestyle and have built a community around their unique home. They are open to visitors, but request that you give them notice in advance. Bring death metal tracks on your iPod, cold beers, and remember to respect their neighbors.
